The KD Series is available in several kit configurations to support different motor sizes used across manufacturing environments. Smaller options include KD1 for 0.12–0.25 kW motors, KD5 for 0.18–2.2 kW motors, and KD10 for 0.37–4.00 kW motors, making them suitable for auxiliary equipment, small process motors, fans, light-duty machinery, conveyors, pumps and machine drives. For broader plant applications, KD25 covers 1.1–11 kW motors, KD50 covers 3–22 kW motors, KD100 covers 5.5–45 kW motors, and KD200 covers 11–90 kW motors. Larger production motors and driven equipment can be supported through KD400 for 18.5–150 kW motors, with higher kit configurations available for 22–200 kW, 32–275 kW and 45–400 kW applications where suitable CT and CBCT selection is required.

Used for earth leakage and earth fault protection. Available kit options include CBCT components such as 43 mm, 63 mm, 104 mm and 150 mm ID options, depending on the selected motor range and relay configuration.

Expansion Modules

The KD Series can also be supported with a range of expansion modules and accessories to improve setup, monitoring and usability. These include an insulation lockout converter for insulation lockout protection, a USB to RS232 converter and KD laptop cable for relay configuration, and free product software for setup. Display options include the KD-FLED remote display unit for door-mounted indication, the KD RDU 420 remote display with a 4 x 20 LCD screen, and the KD MMI 420 event recorder kit for portable display and event recording. A KD voltage converter is also available for higher voltage applications.
